As we grow,we all create memories,some of them are quickly forgotten,such as being a part of a crime,killing sprees,rapes,and murdering of others,while the most precious of memories have to be when 2 people form a precious union,and join as one in the act of matrimony. And those are the most precous memories of all,next to creating a new life,which becomes a miniclone of ourselves.
But as one gets very old,we tend to grab onto memories so hard and so strong becuase we become very fearful of what lies ahead for us as we know our time here is now growing short,and finally ALL those past memories finally consume the rest of our entities and probably the last and fina memory is of what is most precious to us,whether it be a Mother,Father,or loved one,before we close our eyes for all eternity.
The answer to the first question is obvious,Why do memories eat away at us? Becuase memories are a big part of what makes us alive,living,and finally dieing.
My memory that is eating away at me is my shame at being such an A-Hole and realizing my actions have taken away a once precious Love in which I will never have again,and it breaks my heart and causes me much pain,and that pain is,indeed killing me slowly,as if I were actually crucified as Jesus once was! And I am deeply sorry for having caused so much heartache for the one that was so precious to me!

then indeed ones life has come to a space in time, being the same as christ, as did not christ feel forsaken and dying, but after the death of crucification of oneself by ones own heart as wisdom as god, comes forth life, and the keys of the piano the mind are no longer black and white keys, having good and bad memories, but all converted to ivory keys of wisdom, and the memory is as renewed, and new breath of life thru wisdom come forth, and the bliss thereof is as even described as heaven on earth, coming forth from within as heaven was said to be, this being the very essence of the meaning of the story told of one called jesus............

You answered the first part, and the second part is the same...your experience, though painful now, will hopefully teach you how to avoid hurting those you love in the future.

I believe we are what we eat, but more importantly we are what we learn. Sometimes we learn the hard way. Sorry for your mistakes, now use them to love better next time.

if any believe in the god of text, as none chose what they believe, but rather hearing only a second time along the journey cause believing anything, then did not the same text say that god or truth would bring all things to the memory of man, the same as to say "god" control all memory.........

how else could god or truth speak but to whisper it, causing the memory to come alive, as was not the book of life the mind said to be opened in a day of destiny, and all things in the book the mind released to be seen, and was not this referred as the judgement day of the lord, just the heart seeing itself, and a true seeing into the heart of all things no being make for oneself, and is not the lord just all the truth of all things, and this book of life the mind opened, becomes the happiest day of mortal mans days, and proceed a moving into the lambs book of life, where no more tears are wept, and all wisdom not of this world is taught, as did not the father god of each in heaven the heart contain the same wisdom as god, which be bliss of seeing the purpose of all things, and no longer actions as good and bad, and the secrets of the universe come to unfold before the eyes...........
