getting flowers? or candy? I know most women enjoy it, but what about the men? Do ya'll enjoy getting flowers or candy sent to you for special occassions or just because?

When I had a "love interest", I liked to get or make fudge for them, and instead of flowers, I liked to get a hardy plant for them. And, I put ads in the classifieds with words of love.

I've never sent flowers to a bf's work place, only because I think other men would "razz" him.. not like other women who would ohh and ahhh and be envious we didn't get any.. I think the rose petals for men should be scattered on the bed for later use That always worked well.

I like to give gifts, but don't opt for flowers for men. I did use the flower box from the flowers he got me once as a gift box for 6 pack of carbon arrows I got a guy. I went to the flower shop and got a new card and ribbon, so he'd think he was just gettin flowers. He looked a little like till he opened it...then he was more like when he saw what it was.

I sent an ex bf flowers, a teddy bear and balloons to his work for his birthday....guess that went over big LOL Also, sent my ex hubby a "gorilla gram" ....Made all the girls laugh Go for it! Even just for fun.

i've gotten flowers before... from a man. i was flattered, but not interested, of course. i don't know how i would feel if a woman gave me flowers... flattered maybe, but i think it depends on the woman.
