Daniel, Weight loss is not achieved the same way for everyone. There
are three things involved: Health, which you are going to have checked -
Diet, what and when you eat & exercise.

Exercise - your body is an engine that needs fuel to run. Now don't
forget, you currently have "reserves". This means your body will
metabolise the fat you currently store BUT it only does this if you feed
the engine less than it needs to run. To actually Loose weight you may
need to cut your intake more than you think, and only after attaining
your goal weight will you be able to increase that intake and that is
experimental based on your weight gain, only you can watch that when the
time comes.
As far as what to eat. Many people have what some refer to as a food
allergy. You tend to crave a particular food, or taste, however, your
particular body will not metabolize it properly. The allergy syndrom is
that your body will not consume it but store it immediatly because it
want's it away from the digestive system. For a lot of people these
allergies are Carbs, for some fats for some it's grains. I have found
the best way to start is to eliminate as much as possible all of these.
HOW? Read labels, use common sence. You know your body needs vitamins
and minerals, how do you get these and get rid of the carbs, fats and
grains. In the beginning, dont eat grains - no cereals (with the
exception of oats like a 1/2 cup of oatmeal once a day - this is good
for lowering colestorl. No breads, no pasta's. Next no fats, now every
body needs some fat but you can get that from oils found in nuts, or
even some salad dressings that are low fat and even milk and milk
products that say skim or fat free, still have some level of fat content
- that's all you need. Remember milk - that great thing that turns a
200 pound calf into a 2,000 pound cow in two years - milk, cheese,
cottage cheese and yogurt should all be labeled fat free or skim - NO
BUTTER OR BUTTER SUBSTITUTES, your body does not know how to break down
plastic and what's in the substitutes may as well be plastic. Next, no
red meat, only white chicken and turkey and ony 3 ounces per serving,
only fish and no shell fish and only 4 ounces per serving. Vegetables -
Bean (not green beans) but the whole family of beans are GREAT protein
and can add a lot to a meal. Fresh fruits or canned that have not sugar
added but limit your fruits to 5 a day, they are packed with sugar. NO
SODA, ok, I admit it I allowed my self one glass of coke a day and one
cup of sweet coffee in the morning. Sugar without all the other stuff
is not bad in moderations.

NEXT - Exercise. Muscle burn twice the caleries and we loose some
muscle as we age, especially those that sit in offices, or in cars, or
just plain don't do manual labor for a living. Incoporate an aroebic
exercise to get your heart rate up with a weight lifting routine. No you
don't need a gyn, free weights and dumbbells will work. Find an over
all body routine, easy to find in magazines and on-line. Target the
largest muscles in your body first as they will burn the most fat and
make weight lass easier. Areobics daily if you can, weights 3 to 4
times a week. Remember muscle weighs more than fat, so you sense and
feel you are loosing weight but the scale may not be moving quickly.
How you feel with this is what you need to focus on. You are getting
healthy first. How you look will begin to follow as your clothes will
fit differently, and finally the weight loss becomes a welcome surprise
and it keep going - but don't get anxious, too fast and you will loose
muscle tone, not gain it, too slow and you will gain and not see the
muscle you are building under the fat. 4 to 8 lbs a month is a great
goal. Once you are happy, add some carbs or fat or pasta, but slowly
and now you have to watch the scale, only in this way will you know how
your body is reacting to the new additions - don't add them all at once
or you won't know what is causing the problem for you. Need mor help
let me know.

My routine is 2 boiled eggs and toast for breakfast, usually soup, or
fruit with a sandwich for lunch, and a sensible dinner.
I try not to eat much junk food, like burgers, or pizza, but if I do it
during lunch. I workout daily ezcept sundays, 1 day weights, 1 day
cardio, and 500 situp,s per day.
Diet means nothing with out a good work out routine, and why do you eat
6 times per day?
