Another round. There are many tests that scientist agree, at least in
part, with for dating artifacts, human or otherwise. If there was not
certain formulas that hold true often enough, we would not have SO many
arechologists, scientists, anthopologists all agreeing on the age of
these things so they must hold some validity. Go to any on-line site,
in fact you can start with archeology.org, there is tons of information
there. Just wanted to share this information. Actually gave me an idea
for a new topic. See ya all later!

As a post script to my previous reply, we were not the only humanoids on
the planet. We were one species among several and at this point there
have even been some fairley recent discoveries that indicate we may have
bred with some of these "other" human beings. So I agree with Mike, if
there were more than one species of human on this planet, what would
make us think there would not be other evolving creatures of
intelligence somewhere else in the universe THE BIG QUESTION NOW IS

WAS JESUS BORN, LIVED, AND DIE ONLY FOR HUMANS ON EARTH????

.....then theres the live mussel that was carbon dated at 100,000,000
yrs old.

thats a good question, Red.
I have a theory that goes like this... alL the other lifeforms on all
he other planets followed the book and did it right. we got it wrong
and you can see the results. We Are like the bung hole of the universe.
LOL

rambill, there is more to dating evidence than just carbon dating.
OK - Truce for just a minute here,-- are you the least bit
interested in science, or archeology or even real history (outside the
history of the bible?) or are you just having fun, like a child who
can't compete, finding amusement in watching others explain things you
could care less about? I think from now on ram, you'll need to add
something or ask an honest question before I give you credance again.
HOWEVER, if by some chance you are really interested in something other
than your own thoughts based on nothing other than your own thoughts,
than let someone you admire here at JSH steer you into some reading on a
subject you might care to actually learn about. We'll all be happy to
share your knew knowledge.

Redykeulus, Its my impression from this thread and others that rambill
has no interest in having a real conversation.

Separately, I think there *are* valid criticism an intelligent
Creationist could make of evolutionary theory and other beliefs commonly
held by today's scientists.

Rsaylers, I agree that it is entirely *possible* that God could have
created an Earth that was already millions of years old, and did this
about 6k years ago. But it is also *possible* that God created the
entire universe about 15 minutes ago, and you were created with your
entire memory fabricated to give the illusion of having lived previous
to 15 minutes ago. But is it a sensible belief?

to mike-that's kinda the point i'm trying to make.
xians believe in what the bible says. but since the bible doesn't cover
the topics of e.t's, then xians don't believe that there are.
