Despite a cease fire called for by Georgia,
Russian Troops have opened a second front in Georgia.
9k Russia troops have entered from Abkhazia, and taken two towns. They have also entered Georgia and have taken the town of Gori. Taking control of the East West Highway, the Georgian port on the Black sea and cutting Georgia in half. They are continuing to bomb the Georgian capital and other cities inside Georgia proper.

Mean while,
Poland has fired their chief negotiator with the US concerning the missile defense shield Bush has been after.
Do you reckon they have gotten the message from Russia that they wont tolerate it?

The US has evacuated American personnel from Georgia. WE have also made careful scheduling with Russia about our Planes returning the Georgian Peace keepers back home from Iraq! Trying to ensure Russian aircraft wont fire on them.

Putin, has called Bush a hypocrite. Referring to Georgia's leader and Saddam Hussein, saying if Bush can attack Iraq and hand Saddam then he should not attempt to protect the Georgian President!

Looks like Russia is going to take back Georgia. Poland's worried, and Ukraine has threatened not to allow the Russia Black Sea fleet to come back to their Ports where they are based!

What else,
Oh Oil prices are going back up!!

And Bush returned from the Olympics today!

Even as Putin rushed home Saturday to manage his military, the sports-loving Bush refused to let the fighting completely ruin his trip as the first sitting American president to attend an Olympics on foreign soil. He gave pep talks to U.S. athletes, posed for photos with them - which he later called the best part of the trip - and then was their biggest fan.

Glenn, give the man the benefit of the doubt and consider that we don't know what is going on behind the scenes.I am sure that he is getting continual advice from all sources. I doubt that he is ignoring the situation.

Ok, continue the game :)

Despite a cease fire called for by Georgia,

It's a lie. The right statement is "Despite a PROMISE of a cease fire..."

Russian Troops have opened a second front in Georgia.
9k Russia troops have entered from Abkhazia,

It is almost truth. In real life Abkhasian separatists (you can be shocked how many tribes live on this piece of rocks) moved deep to Georgia and the troops followed them to avoid another blood. At least they say so :)

and taken two towns.

These are rumors. Nobody proved it. From the practical point of view there's no need to take any town. This will give nothing but extra causalities. Taking the roads is main goal of battles in rocks.

They have also entered Georgia and have taken the town of Gori. Taking control of the East West Highway,

the Georgian port on the Black sea

the Abkhasian port to be precise.

and cutting Georgia in half.
They are continuing to bomb the Georgian capital and other cities inside Georgia proper.

Note: despite of many talking about "bombing" (from both sides) there are almost no pictures of destroyed buildings and victims. There are photos of fires and damages caused by bullets and shells, but not by bombs.

Mean while,
Poland has fired their chief negotiator with the US concerning the missile defense shield Bush has been after.

Remember i said: all that Eastern-europians are betrayers.

Do you reckon they have gotten the message from Russia that they wont tolerate it?

Well... They started to hesitate few months before. They fought what the price suggested (do you know what you taxes must be paid for Palish allow that shield?) by USA is low.

Congratulations. The coward plan of KGB to make USA to waste a lot of money has ruined. I hope.

The US has evacuated American personnel from Georgia. WE have also made careful scheduling with Russia about our Planes returning the Georgian Peace keepers back home from Iraq! Trying to ensure Russian aircraft wont fire on them.

:)
In one of Russian military forum i've read what allowing the American Planes to take off is a pay back for the Soviet Planes were allowed to take off in 70's in Vietnam.

Militarizes have they own counts.

Putin, has called Bush a hypocrite. Referring to Georgia's leader and Saddam Hussein, saying if Bush can attack Iraq and hand Saddam then he should not attempt to protect the Georgian President!

Unfortunately there's no the death penalty in Russia. But hanging the Saakashvili would be very symbolic.

Looks like Russia is going to take back Georgia.

What for? A few square kilometers of rocks, lasy thieves... However here's an oil-pipe line... Migth be this a reason.

and Ukraine has threatened not to allow the Russia Black Sea fleet to come back to their Ports where they are based!

Not Ukraine, but Ukraine "president" (which got the chair by a coup)

What else,
Oh Oil prices are going back up!!

Why don't you place this news on the top?

His past and continued foreign policies and the manner in which he handled them is enough for me.

Bush went into office with Zero foreign policy experience. There are many leaders of this country who have started out in that boat.
To cover up for their weakness a leader picks others to sit on his cabinet who do have experience in that arena.
That's okay and part of being a leader is to pick key people to fill key positions, but the buck always stops at their desk. They must accept the responsibility and all that goes with it. That is a major contributor to what kind of a leader they are.

Bush's leadership decision to pick Cheney as VP, and then to follow Cheney's self interest and Rumsfeld's aggressive advice is what has caused this mess now!
Instead of accepting his mistakes, and handling them with positive leadership, Bush has consistently lied and used excuses of coincidence to cover up for his bad leadership decision.

He chose to follow their advice against all his available expert military leaders advice in Iraq, and has done the same with the available foreign policy advisers advice. The buck stops at the Oval desk, and Bush is guilty of being one of the worst leaders this country has ever known.

Benefit of doubt for 72% of this country has ran out. For me it ran out a long time ago. I was probably one of the first to see his weaknesses as a leader. Actually calling them weaknesses is not the correct phrase.

What they are, is a premeditated plan by the NEOCONS to unravel our Constitution as needed, and lead this country in the direction they chose fit to best achieve their self-interests. Bush is a puppet on a string, and his replacement, if they get their way will be John McCain!

You may not be smart enough to realize the truth in that, but slowly over these last 8 years, 72% of the population has figured it out. You go ahead and give him benefit of the doubt, most Americans are way past that point. I take it you've never heard the saying, Fool me once shame on You, Fool me twice shame on Me.

Putin flew home Saturday to handle the Russian war. Bush stayed yucking it up with Olympians, only flying home today. Day 5 of the outbreak of hostilities in Georgia. Condi, was on vacation somewhere and has made phone calls, but that's the extent of the Bush Administration's response to the situation their policies have caused in Georgia.

In a statement in the Rose Garden, Bush said there was an apparent attempt by Russia to unseat the pro-Western Saakashvili. He said further Russian action would conflict with Russian assurance its actions were meant to restore peace in the pro-Russian separatist areas.

So we see he is very aware of what has been happening while he yucked it up in Beijing for 5 days. Doubt????

Putin criticized the United States for viewing Georgia as the victim instead of the aggressor, and for airlifting Georgian troops back home from Iraq on Sunday.

"Of course, Saddam Hussein ought to have been hanged for destroying several Shiite villages," Putin said in Moscow. "And the incumbent Georgian leaders who razed ten Ossetian villages at once, who ran elderly people and children with tanks, who burned civilian alive in their sheds — these leaders must be taken under protection."

Putin makes a fool out of Bush, and Bush's Presidency has made a fool out of America.
Doubt??

You go ahead, Im all doubted out!drinker

Anyway, the Shrub scolding Russia for invading
South Ossetia is like a toothless lion roaring
at a hyena.

The hyena has the upper hand in that situation!

And Condi is still working on her tan!

Ironic isn't it?

I find Bush's response here eerily similar to his response about the attack on 9-11, when he sat reading even as the attack was taking place.
I guess when you are no more than a puppet head for a more powerful NEOCON organization your decisions aren't important or needing of an immediate response!
