“ Waiting for Love ”

I wear my heart upon my sleeve,
Wanting to be loved;
Waiting for her patiently,
With my chin held high above.

Way too many sleepless nights,
I yearn to feel her touch;
And as I drift to sleep alone,
I wonder just how much.

How much longer must I wait,
To meet that special one;
The woman that will love me,
Not play with my heart for fun.

I know I have more love to give,
Than most could ever know;
So why is it so hard for me,
To find that perfect soul?

Someone to share my life with,
Who wants a truly, honest man;
Women say that’s what they want,
But I just don’t understand.

I’m standing right in front of her,
Not perfect by any means;
But for some reason I’m overlooked,
The best are never seen.

But someday I know,
God will give me what I need;
And finally I’ll find my love
And I too will be happy.

But as for any other woman,
It will be too late;
I’ve been here all along,
Not good enough to date.




“ Prayer Of A Brand New Day ”

The sun sneaks over the horizon,
At the start of a brand new day;
I wonder what’s in store for me,
As I sit to eat and pray.

Father I thank you for this bright new day,
Filled with your endless love;
I thank you for the blessings,
You pour on me from above.

I repent for all my sins,
And thank you once again;
For dying on that cross for me,
To take away my sins.

As I pray for those around me,
And you already know their names;
I plead the blood of Jesus,
Over every one of them.

And I thank you dear Lord Jesus,
For all the things you do;
And for each day I get to wake up,
And spend more time with you.

You dont have to do churches or the church scene to know God one on one. Yeah it helps, but it is not required, as long as you know where you stand...

When you have two or more tell you the same thing, thats your confirmation from God that it is the " truth " and you should accept it as that and nothing less. I truly believe that. Confirmation is an awesome thing that God does for us....
