hell ya there are! there are tons all summer long.jazz fest,blues
fest,taste of chicago..tons of concerts out at northerly island(formaly migs feild)movies in the park...they start at dusk at select parks in chicago..like grant park downtown..saw dr.strangelove there last year...tons of cool stuff |

I live about 1 1/2 hours from chicago....us girls come there every once
in awhile

I'm in the suburbs (Dupage) about 20 miles from downtown lots to do!

Yeah I always want to go Downtown but I just feel like I keep doing the
same things. I know theres alot more out there. |

i hear ya...i watched them build the oceanarium at the shed aquariam and
still havnt been inside the thing...lol..still havnt been to millenium park either..what a great chicagoin i am..i always end up doing samething in summer...concerts and fests |

Body Worlds 2, people! It's going to be amazing! It's at the Museum of Science and Industry until the end of April! It's graphic so some people may not like it but it's really amazing. |

lakefront of course!...i sit there all the time and watch the water the
boats the animals the people...its great...a bar-b-q is always fun and cheap..hehe i should know..i have a grill hid in a tree by loyala campus. |

and charcoal set it down and climb a tree..they usually laugh their asses off when i jump out of my stash tree with a grill in my hands |
