she had surgery today. to be fixed. i dropped her off this morning, there was about 100 people there, it was a mad house, so they told me to come back and get her today about 4pm. i went to pick her up they were so crappy to me. then i heard her yelp twice real loud in the back and some nurse said "that dog tried to bite me so i smacked it" omg!!!!!!!! she is a whole 7 pounds and just went thru something tramatic, so the nurse came out and said i may have you go back and get her she is snipping. i said yes, let me because she does not walk on a leash. 5 min later she is dragging my dog out on her sutures tied to a rope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! need i say my reaction? she was covered in blood, they didnt clean her, she was crying so loud, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WENT NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

i certainly intend to. byron, a good friend of mine who i am staying with referred me there, he was furious, his daughter was with me and she was so upset she started crying to him when he got home. he called the vet and got the receptionist who got crappy with him and hung up so he is on a rampage about it too cuz he now is attached to lilly. she is so tiny and precious. her disposition is soooooooo sweet. she has NEVER bitten anyone and is so gentle. omg im so pissed!

that's terible, you should find a new vet because there is no need for them to mess with your baby like that! plus it's not their fault for biting these people, they are so doped up and in pain and have no idea what is going on.

It would not have been a delightful day for anyone if they did that with my buds, I'd raise hell and make sure I knocked some important documents around...thus effectively ending up in jail...but it would so be worth it.

Report this to your local humane society. They will know what professional organization to report vets to for disaplinary action.

YES! i agree...they above all people should understand that she was frightened, drugged, in pain and didnt understand what was happening in a strange environment without anyone she knew, its so sad.

1st thing I'd have the dog examined by another vet to be sure she wasn't harmed. A dog that tiny should not be handled roughly, especally after surgery.

I can't believe this! I used to work for the humane society. That witch should not be working with animals or people.
