I'm scared of starting my own business, though everyone encourages me to do so. To do so now, would mean taking on a lot of debt and that much debt terrifies me. So it's really a combination issue.  I say go for it. I went for it and have managed to turn it into 2 successful companies. It is some scary stuff tho!   There are times in my life I would have been better prepared for such an undertaking...should have done it then. Now that I'm more mature, I'm hoping to make a go in the future...but not when I'd have to pay rent off it right away.
