If you're not attracted to them why would you date them? Does the idea of exposure make you think that if you spend enough time with them you'll eventually find them attractive? Well, I guess if I live to be old enough the eyesight will go, and all that is left is personality. However, I believe personality is also part of attraction, so they'd have to be super nice, like Grandma nice.

Hmmm. Going by the ladies responses here, this is why I never got the girl in high school. I was super sweet and nice, but not attractive. Man, I so sucked back then.sad bigsmile

Not all ladies... My past relationships have obviously not worked for me, they were attractive people, judging from the outside. I have told myself for the next person.. I want to get to know everything about them, personality, etc...and not just by looks (based on outside appearance).. I personally have chosen to give someone a chance, that normally I wouldn't consider as "my type".. c'mon we all have them.. "our types".. but have "our types" worked for us in the past??? For me they haven't... I think I've been too narrow minded, perhaps even looked over someone who may be "great" for me.. All's I know is that from now on.. I'm willing to give people a chance that I may not have in the past. :: make sense?:: laugh happy

Yup. Perfect sense, cause the woman I am seeing now is the first girl I dated who really wasn't in the "my type" catagory. And it is working out beautifully. Unless she becomes psychotic, I believe we will be just grand.
