I found on the FAQ page this:
If you send someone a photo in an inbox message, they will be able to see it whether it is private or public. It was under "what's the difference between public and private messages". I want to send a picture through a message now but I can't figure out how. Does anyone know? |

No, I can't imagine how to send a pic in an email on THIS system's email!! Never occurred to me and I don't see any such option. |

You upload them like regular pictures, and then set them to private. |
