I use to work in the criminal just field as a Security Officer and have taken several courses in Administration of Justice and I love the field.

My question to everyone is:

" Do you feel Capital Punnishment ( United States uses Lethal Injection) is a good thing used in the United States?

Now what I think they do, before they execute someone is" do a DNA sample , to see if they are really guilty.

Is thier anyone out here, that is in the Criminal Justice Field, that correct me or update me?

They only use DNA to check during the appeals process.

Thank you. So you mean, while they are on death row, they do the DNA?

Thanks.

DNA isn't foolproof. You can pick up a hair anywhere.

I would go for execution in relation to crimes against children!!

Either that or life imprisonment. Life meaning life. You come out in a wooden box!!!!!

True but if you had a semen sample, blood sample, saliva sample, skin tissue sample and the hair on the head all present at a crime scene then you could be pretty sure.

I watched a programme where a guy was convicted on dna. The chances it was not him was 96 billion to one. You would have to scour our entire galaxy to find the guy if he was not guilty!!

I think that is pretty damning evidence!!
