It is so hard because the basics we are out done by the
advanced scriptures. meaning the torah (5 books of moses the law) has
been done away. I f would reason this in our jobs would we ever get
anything done. I studied electronics the basics being Ohms law. Now
later i went into transistor theroy. Can i all of a sudden work my
problems without using ohms law? no this is the case in all studies
everything comesw back to the basics. So when our society decided the
law was not needed how do we know what sin is? Now it is what ever we
want it to be. confusion causing many religions. satan is the author of
confusion. the messiah said over and over i do nothing that is new.
Everything he said can be found in the Torah. He showed us the deeper
meaning of the law. Lets take in biblical times people went up on thier
rooftop to cool off and to search for the new moon (the beginning of a
month). The law says you are to have a railing around your roof that
your nieghbor when he is over will not fall off. today even in modern
building codes if a deck on your house is so far off the ground you are
to have a railing.Is this railing for your protection or your nieghbors?
same thing for pools. U can not interpret the bible by the new testament
it will not work. you must have a foundation and in John 1:1 our messiah
is said to be the word(law) and our foundation. So called preachers do a
heck of a job twisting scriptures to not only thier destruction but
thier congregations to if they just go with the flow. Thats why it says
study to show yourself approved. not your nieghbor but yourself. The
messiah never blasted the followers he forgave them but the religious
elite he called VIPERS. Men who chose thier own athority over Yahweh's.
Thus making laws out of laws. We are doing this constantly in this
country it is getting way out of control. This law interprets this law
and so on. It takes our freedom away. They justify it through the bible
and at the same time deny it. They want thier own authority. This is why
we are in the mess we are in Iraq. the same goes for our ministers you
listen to every week. What do they really want or are after. think about

It's simple... GOD IS LOVE and
that is it-GOD IS LOVE: and GOD wants us to love our brethren (each
other) heart: All of the other traits
are worldly (meaning of the world). God gives us the choices to make in
life , we know right from wrong and we have to choose how we want
to live. With lots of or
lot's of hate... I choose
LOVE I find it easier to love someone

Miles, thank you for your explanation. I believe I understand what you
are saying. I think, however, that in simpler times, simpler laws are
easy to comply with. The problem is that society grows, not only with
knowledge, but also gathers together from many walks of life. This
makes oldler, simpler laws not enough. For you speak of the law, in
terms of "sin". Civilization must look at laws in other terms, away
from the religious. The problems we have in a country where every
faction of the world's population is recognized and present is that one
person's religious "sin", is not anothers. Therefore, ethics, must be
taken out of the Legal precess. I AM IN AGREEMENT with your take of
the current political adaptations of laws to define laws, or repeal
laws, or to "update" a law. But what I see as the problem in all this
is that the laws began, from a religious perspective, from men who did
not consider the or even know/understand that we would become a society
of such diverse culture.. For this reason, we outgrew the laws, but
the Christian faction that is still so prevailant in our people will not
allow them to consider looking at these laws without seeing the nature
of "sin". THIS MY FRIEND is what holds us back the moste.

I havn't read all of the posts, but at the beginning there was
something said about our 'feeling' or emotions. They are very important.
They tell us where we are at in our emotional scale, so that we know
where we are in relation to where we want to go. They are our built in
guidence systems.
