Wow, Goes to show you not to judge a man from two short sentences.
Especially when you could write a novel about the lives of each! And never vote for a leader based on such brief innuendo! If a man's life or career could be judged as someone has attempted here, then I suspect no one could be judged any better! Surely this was written as a joke and should be in the joke section. |

A man who survived Polio, lead the country through the darkest days of the depression, was 4 term President of the US, and one of greatest leaders the world has ever known, reduced to,
"Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologist. He's had two mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day." Surely this is a travesty of human judgement and nature! Is it any wonder that GWB was reelected to a second term? |

Winston Churchill was no slouch either.
We were lucky to have those two men around when they were! Its a good thing their attributes were far more numerous than these little flaws. Its a sad thing that Hitlers attributes weren't more and his flaws fewer! |

Very true both FDR and Churchhill were important people who had extrodinary decisions to make in their time. Fortunately, we can live a good life because of their decisions.

Extraordinary people sometimes arise from seemingly small events.
So, what is it? Fate or luck, blessing or curse that brings us those people that change history? I am curious...what do you all think? |
|
|
|
perhaps a combination of all of them
