profile matter that much to you? Or are you more of a "Seeing what they're about through conversation" kid of person?

Both, but conversation is more important....

The profiles indicate possiblities, don't you think? It's the communication that reveals the man or woman 'behind the curtain'.

I like to know someone through conversation, but to be honest if I view their profile and they haven't put any effort into it, I move on.....

If you have misspelled your screen name, you are dead to me.
And if you double-post, we can't be friends. |

profiling is wrong!!!

Both. But just looking at profiles doesn't get you anywhere-- unless you're a voyeur... or shy

Start by reading the profile, then talk.......

Yes, the profile does matter to me.. if someone leaves it blank or just throws in the basic "ask me and I'll tell you" or "like to have fun".. that tells me that if they are not willing to take a few minutes to invest in their profile, chances are they are not serious about investing in other aspects of life & love.
