moss is about to be trated to the pakers and briggs, if he doesn't
report before the season starts then the bears will take whatever they
can get. briggs definatly is not worth what urlacher gets

i tell u what. i am listening to briggs right now on sportscente and he
is sounding like another selfish millionaire like t.o. get over
yourself. report to training camp. have a great year then cash in next
year. if he plays this year he will get 7.2 million. i bet i can live on
that

briggs is just going to shoot himself in the foot if he sits out the
whole year. if he does, then he looses a year from the pention plan, and
the bears can put the franchise tag on him again next year

i agree with you sports nutt. the bears said they weren't going to trade
or release him so i guess we wait a couple months and see who is lying
lol

as far as moss goes, i don't see too many teams willing to make that
trade and the raiders i think will want way too much for him in
exchange.

one of the teams that was interested in him just got dante stallworth,
so moss is no longer needed, lol. but the packers arent gonna make a
serious move for him. as far as briggs go, it really doesnt matter what
he does, because no matter what, teams are still gonna want him. and if
you think im wrong, then looka t the perfect example of terrell owens

i never said there was teams that wouldn't want him. i would love if he
played for my team. but the ball is in his court, he should jusst strap
on the pad and play this year. next year he becomes a free agent and if
he has the type of year he shoul;d have then he will make his money. so
he should just shut up, strap on the pads and play. then take his 7.2
million dollars and put it in the bank. i am so sick and tired of these
pampered pro players saying they can't live off the money they are going
to get.they sigh\ned the contract so abide by it. if the players didn't
want the franchise tag to be in existance then they should not have
agreed to it in their collective bargaining agreement. and by the way
there is another little twist to briggs. his agent is drew rosenhouse.
the guy that screwed everything up with t.o

youre right, he should shut up and play. but he isnt going to, lol. but
it wont hurt what hes gonna get paid later

well if he doesn't play this year his contract is still the property of
the bears. and they will franchise him again so it will hurt him

thyats true, but why would they want to waste their money for somoene
who aint gonna play for them?

thats true. but they could fine him for each game he misses and they
wouldn't be out the money

i was jsut listening to espn, and they said what he could do was miss
all but the last six weeks of the season and they wouldnt be able to do
anything. and they would still have to pay him
