hey would you two be willing to critique a piece of poetrry for me?
I already posted it, but would like some feedback too, before Autumn
sees it

Sitting here, waiting for you,
looking at pictures you have on post,
my heart beats, so slow.

As I think about what may come,
I look, at your pics,
and my heartbeat begins to gain speed.

Sitting here waiting, to post,
I ask myself one or two things,
and lo', there you are.

As I sit, looking in your eyes,
I see nothing, but Soul,
And realize you bring lifes' true gift.

Many long, years i've waited,
in what then was thought just right,
too many lives, walked through.

Now comes, the halfway point,
in darkness I do sit and weep,
your person I, have found.

Sitting here, waiting for you,
looking at pictures you have on post,
my heart lives, in joy.

We just started talking (so to speak lol) the other day, so I do not
know for sure whereit is headed, but I am hoping it heads straight up.

Oh um..I dont know that much about poetry..I just know what sounds
pretty to me..lol..ok so I'm an idiot..lol

lol@lady.... It is called haiku hun. A classic Japanese art form.

it rotates from 5 words to 7 words
and classically when you start with a five word line, the last stanza is
suposed to end with a 7 word line.

What you wrote was beautiful jack. You are both in my prayers for
happiness

just as rare as findign a gem like yourself hun...
