Who here likes start gazing?
I LOVE it. I could lay under them for hours and just stare. I was at the lake earlier this evening just looking at them. Wish on a shooting star, looked for the consolations, and was just at peace. At that moment it was like nothing else mattered, That there was just peace everywhere. |

Yessss.. My ex had a telescope and we used to go out in the country and star gaze. Took some interesting photos too. The moon was amazing! You could see every crater.
Every once in a while I will climb up on my roof and star gaze with some popcorn. |

Stars are too distant, too cool. I have stared out through the galaxy, until the back of my head hurt from searching outward thru my eyes.
But the glory of the tapestry is awesome, on a clear high mountain night, far from city lights. When you look and absorb, not staring, but taking it all in and blending to be part of it all, the ground under you shrinks and you rise to become an astronaut upon something in space. All is moving. All is changing. The vastness, enormous and close around you. You can reach and touch...swimming towards the forevermore. No longer am I just a pickle, but a zen pickle. |

I live way out in the woods...no lights or buildings to hide the view of them...and I LOVE IT |
