Not much going on here. Motorcycle lost its brakes yesterday so it is in
the shop. Daughter is using my truck so I guess today I hanf around the

my older girls can watch the smaller 2.

I have a friend who is a MSgt in the Air Force, and he invited me to an
Air Force Ball ~ the 50th Anniversary of Seymour Johnson AFB in
Goldsboro, NC, and home of the 4th Tactical Airlift Wing.(Hooaah!)

I drove an hour to meet him there (he came down from Langley AFB,
Hampton, VA). We kicked it last night, my friends! Everyone in AF
tuxes and formal gowns. After the ball, we went to a dance club there
on base and slammed $3.00 Jager Bombs. Let's just say I'm glad the base
has a shuttle bus to the guest quarters...LOL!

The A/C failed in our room, and I had a hard time falling asleep. But
just before I drifted off, I suddenly saw the face of a former
boyfriend/current friend, and he was sticking out his tongue at me!
That was his "I like you" genture. I whispered, "Go away, Silly! I
need to go to sleep..."

When I turned on my cell in the truck leaving base, I got 7 phone
messages...my friend that "came" to me as I fell asleep last night, had
been killed. He was on his Harley, less than 2 miles from his home when
an oncoming car made a left turn in front of him. He had massive
head/chest injuries but made it out of surgery and was on the way to the
recovery room when his heart ruptured.

I guess he stopped by on his way out of this earth to tell me he still
liked me, and to say goodbye.
