who can like nascar?! all it about is cars driving around in a circle!you can go away for about 10 minutes and you wont miss a damn thing! there still going around in a CIRCLE!

Hey my car can go 200 mph but only turn right,

At 200 miles an hour with 30 cars neck and neck,side by side for 5 straight hours, that is Skill!!!

My stepdad actually raced at Irwindale (a smaller nascar track in so cal) and took the street stock championship in 1999. We (the fam) were his pit crew. I know a lot of people can't appreciate it but I LOVE the races. Since I was young sunday was always race day and even if my stepdad was sleeping on the couch we didn't dare change the channel LOL.

It's all a matter of taste really...some people feel that baseball could just skip to the seventh inning or football the 4th quarter. What's up with all those serves in tennis anyway, they can tell who's best from the first serve...right? Just give em the cup right there and lets go home already.

It's not just about the cars, drivers and length of the race...so it can't be judged in one or two laps. It's about endurance, time management and the speed and agility of the pit crew as well. I don't care for racing as a spectators sport myself, but do understand there is a reason they are driving in circles REALLY loudly, ALL damn day!

You have to go to a race to fully enjoy it..Its more than going 200mph and turning left...There is alot of strategy involved...Fuel milage, tires( except for the Indy race )track position, there are alot of variables..I like it..I guess you have to be a fan to appreciate it...Anyone who says drivers are not athletes, try driving 500 miles at 180-200mph in a car that can get as hot as 140 degrees...Want to see a show, go to the Daytona 500. 250,000 plus fans..A great time..JMO
