We have them here in O-re-gun.It is scary when you see 100ft fir trees swaying towards your home.scared

Wow, I didn't realize they were with such frequency there. That would wig me, too.

I've only been in one tremor. Thought I was just dizzy........ dizzier than my usual dizzy!! laugh laugh laugh My ex-out-laws were in one in California on a visit eons ago, the one where bridges collapsed.... they got rearended on it, but thankfully, nothing worse.
we have only had a couple of medium strength ones, but a lot of litle ones.We are on the "ring of fire".

Study geography again, because this is Minnesota folks!

laugh laugh Katie. I was going to post something like MOVE to a place that doesn't have them! At least here, for tornado and hurricane we have WARNING!

I used to live close to the RR tracks, does that count?

We just have tornados, floods, blizzards, and misquitos here

No earthquakes in Ireland Redshirt and I am very thankful for that. I have seen documentary's about earthquakes and the end results. It must be terrifying to be in that situation!!

There is nothing to do, you could run but who knows where to and if there are any debris in your way or a building falling right in your path or on top of you.I have experienced earth quake at night and the worst part was when all the lights went out.................utter mayhem!!!
