I am getting ready to search out old poetry I have posted on here, and was wondering ifit would be posisble ot keyword it somehow so as not to have to search through every piece of poetry for the last 18 months?

If you have some idea of when you posted it, just click on the numbers below your picture in this thread, and start looking either fowards or backwards from there..

wont work as they have been bumped up and brought back a few times since I posted them originally. Every time you do so, it brings it current.

they don't have a search capability that i know of...
so i think that elwoodsully's right the best way may be to try to remember around which date you may have posted and search back through your old posts or maybe through the posts of someone else who you know responded to your topic but who has far fewer posts than your own... |

I thought of that too lol but eveyone who is still online has posted just as much if not more than myself, so I am outt aluck there too.
I am just gonna have to wait and see if mike or vanchau can search using my account to pull up my old posts and such, and if they are willing to do so if they can. Thanks though for your suggestions. |

no it wont. lets say you start a thread in general discussion. No one responds, it will get buried. Now lets say two weeks down the road, I found your thread and responded. It would then be brough to the front of the section and start the process over from the date I responded.
So, when someone responds on May 17th 2008, to a post that was written say on the 1st of march 2006, and nobody else repsonds, it will then be with the other ones posted around May 17th 2008, not the original posting of March 2006. |

I'm afraid we can't help you here, daniel.
Your best option, therefore, is probably to dig through your older posts. As noted above, they will be in chronological order as you look through only your posts: http://mingle2.com/forum/show_posts_by_user/117623 |

It would be nice to have a better way to search. |
