Topic: To that special friend in my life, you know who you are. | |
---|---|
I am dedicating this to all the people that are sick from life threatening illness's, surgery's or other forms that make you feel like you are not a whole person any longer, or that you are not capable of having a relationship because of what has taken place in your life.
I understand that when you go through this, that it does sometimes make drastic changes in your life. It does not make you less of a person, as a man, women or child. You were one of the most amazing people that i met before you became ill. You are still that same special person that i grew to love and care for. Because there are things that you can no longer do, should not make you feel less of a person. You still have thoughts, and emotions like the rest of us. We all have disabilities in one form or another. Because they all don't show, does not mean they do not have them. Those people who tend to say cruel things to you, or take bad actions against you. Some do it out of stupidity, not knowing about something scares people. Others do it, because it makes them feel as they are in control, when in reality they are just as lost in there own lives. And do not know how to make changes for the better within themselves. Help them to learn about your illness, so that they to can understand some of hardships you have to deal with on a daily basis. We all have to learn to love ourselves, before we can share that love with someone else, and it does not matter who you are. Help them by showing how strong your faith is in yourself, and in god. And most importantly don't let others make you feel like they are above you or better then you are. WE ARE ALL EQUALS IN GODS EYES, no matter what some may think or say or believe. With all my prayers going out to you and yours at this time. Maria |
