of a patchwork playground
made from fruitful fascination-

into a mimed box
of pretentious sanity,
I strut alone among
callous captions embraced.

Black and white face paint
mask my grey robotic reality
wrought in opinionated opposition
[mind mines pressure loaded].

I stuff my bucking bronco
in the airless forest
of cerebral containment
pot-holed with poetic
crayola canyons,
where dreams drain
into cradled creativity
[along with dew kissed lies].

Painfully prancing
along muddied illusions
of inhaled ashen alleys
tied to a future I manifested;

wafting winds of captivated chaos
seize my textile thoughts
knitted in safety
and woven invulnerable.

Natural navigations halted
within the smile
of luscious laughter adrift
on the mirrored mirage
of a wish buried in chaffed chastity.

Waning whirlwinds
of leather lashings (public perception)
tumble like dominos
amidst my fickle foundations
mortared in fear
and plastered pretty;

as fiddling fingers succumb
to hearty habits
of the blemished beauty,
a white raven with a broken wing,


that became my
amethyst apparition.
