Anyone here into drifting? .....As in with cars.... not mentally or anything else.

i'm into drifting, in fact i have been involved with it for the last 5 years as a photographer for NOPI, Formula D and D1, and to clear up a couple of things the only people who have gotten hurt in the sport are the idiots that beleive they can slide with a front wheel drive car, drifting is all about control of the vehicle at high speeds, while making it look like you are out of control, that is how you will see true driver skill, btw way good choice with the E30, it's a great car to slide i have owned 5 S13's and a AE86GTS currently i DD a Sil80 dynoed at 425hp, i'm sure you can appreciate that
Photographer? That's pretty sweet man. I'd love to see some of your work. I follow everything in FD and Nopi. Five S13... damn man im still working on just getting one. lol. And yes, I definitively do appreciate that sil80.

good way to kill youreself or someone else fool
No, ignorance kills.

Thinking that your car is going behave like something you saw in a game kills.

I know people whose life has been saved by kicking the car into a drift in an otherwise impossible situation.

People at large just haven't been taught how to drive beyond basic skills, and barely that.

Your only going to kill someone else or your self if your and idiot and do it on the streets.

Well my cousin was NO idiot and he wasn't on the streets , he was on the 20 mile strip and , yes you CAN kill yourself drifting. He drifted for 10 years.

the post above my last one seemed to suggest doing it in illegal situations. at a sanctioned event, the risk of death should be very low
