I am alone now I cannot let you in My friends I must abandon This fight I'll never win Perhaps you will just let me watch The others having fun I'll wait along the fringes For now, I am no one It's been a jolly time, for sure It's been a joy, at times You've given me your heart I've shared with you my rhymes And maybe someday, someplace else We'll play our games again The world will be a kinder place I'm waiting, until then
