In some States or Cities- the water company makes
you stay at your house, to turn the water on.
If you were'nt there- they probbley refused to
turn it on. They say its for safety sake incase of
a leak. They don't think we have lives, and we can just sit there, and wait for them for whenever they show up.
The water company, electric company,
and the gas company- all do that to you here.
(Coarse I can see the gas companys reasons lol).
Heck even the cable and phone companies pull that
crap. They have been
known to tell you between 8a.m. and 5 p.m. here.

Hope you get your water back on today!

Thank you MsTeddy.............that was the reason, I called them today and and they told me something along those lines....

Also that once I got the security code from the actual person on the phone, she switched me to the computer to pay the bill. Once the computer gave me the confirmation number I was supposed to call back the live person and tell them the confirmation number and sit in the house all day today for them to come between 3pm and 8pm......unless I faxed them permission to come over and turn it on.

But YAY!! I do have water again!!

One thing you need to do is check the HOT WATER heater.....cause when the water gets turned off it will continue to heat and might destory your hot water heater.....

Put snacks out and the guy will be right over to fix it...

Turned it off the other night when I found out the water was turned off....
