Hurricane Dolly is predicted to hit the eastern Gulf coast of Texas in roughly 24 hours. It should be a Cat 1 at landfall but could strengthen due to the warm waters of the Gulf.
Do we have anyone down in the S.E. parts of Texas? |

You're welcome! Everybody be safe. It is heading roughly towards Brownsville TX so southern parts of TX. It was going thru the Yucantan Peninsula yesterday and once they get in the Gulf, they always strengthen since it's so warm. I'm in Birmingham AL 4.5 hours north of the Gulf and we are even affected once they get inland and make their north east turn.
