call me to you side
and i shall glide to you through the thickening summer air the wind that blows through your hair keeps me aloft and light as day turns into night and sun to dark i will revel in the starkness of this time, i hear my heartbeats climb as i look into your face i may have lost my place , so stricken by the glow so much i should show, but maybe in a while you'll undress me with a smile and we'll push the world aside and take a little ride into the center of our hearts and leave these barren parts behind and when we are complete in the throes of sweet defeat i'll hold you oh so tight as day chases the night away and the cycle starts again |
