I may have misunderstood, but it sounded to me like an imperative statement. And, anyway, I'm getting the general ageist vibe from this entire thread. all she was saying is that she doesnt want to date someone in that age range...there is nothing wrong with that.that is her choice.we are all allowed our opinions are we not ? but do not take offense to something so quickly..try to see it thru someone else's eyes before making such a statement yourself. Okay, I'm willing to admit that I may have misread the statement, but the fact still remains that all teenagers are not like that. Im not sure in 19 short years anyone that age can have as much life experience as someone my age... its not a bad thing its simply stating the obvious.. ive been here alot longer and have dealt with more for more years.. it isnt an insult

again i agree, teenagers maybe as mature as they want to be however, life is an experince that you only have 19 years of... maturity plays little role in that aspect.. Experience isn't always measured in years. then please mesaure it for me. You're analyzing maturity as a quantitative value. It's definitely not that. People grow up at different rates, and I don't think it's fair for someone to insinuate that all teenagers are little babies who don't know anything. yes true to a certain degree, some adults never grow up but then again we arnt talking about maturity, we are talking about exeriences withing maturity. So many factors play role into wide-range dating. |

Not saying I am the most mature person(I do tend to have my silly moments) but for the most part I do not act my age. |

you aren't interested in them when they write you? C'mon I know it happens. I just ask them if English is their primary language. If that doesn't work, I ask them if they graduated 6th grade. I mean, it's not like I'm not clear on the subject in my profile.
