I've heard it is rampant there...if the city is so embarressed by it, maybe it's time to look at other options

Unless they're going to give the homeless more permanent options for help, I say forget it. Let the Democratic Convention (and all politicians) see exactly what life is really like.

i've seen the homeless in denver having lived there.I think its great the homeless will be entertained for the convention however maybe if the politians see the homeless upfront they might think about them more and come up with more solutions

They do this at different times for different reasons. No big deal. The reason they are on the streets during the day is because the shelters only house people at night, they get kicked out in the morning. Homelessness is usually caused by a mental illness so most of them are incapable of retaining work. It is sad but the mental health help in this country is sorely lacking for this group of people. |

Do yourself a favour and read that book. |
