No flirting, no sex talk, no nothing, except friends being friends. When we started talking, and it actually took a while to hear her beautiful voice, it continued cool and relaxed, still friends being friends, intimate friends, sharing who we are. Before I knew it, well, this intimate friendship became more. In reviewing the chat logs, I was flying blind and being a friend, appreciating her as a friend and then it kicked into higher gear, as a natural progression would. It is the most beautiful transition I've felt from anyone. That distance we have actually made it possible, otherwise, I just know we would have collided and missed out on the friendship that we have, as well as the other bonus feelings. When she gave me her first picture after we became mutual about our feelings, I saw the most beautiful thing. Her smile. It was certain that our feelings for each other put that big smile on her face, and more, I got to see her eyes. Wow.  While there are more things I really appreciate about what she brought into my life, I think it best to stop here and just revel in it all.
I really wouldn't call what happened 'moves', or maybe I just got blindsided by myself. I'm just grateful that I didn't miss out in getting closer to her in this way. She's a really special woman. |
