The book states that "in the beginning god created the heavens and the earth"? It does not state that god created it from ""nothing"". - where do people get the idea that their god created everything from nothing? To the best of my knowledge this isn't a religious idea. By if we expend our thoughts to the beginning of everything ; something must have come from nothing : we go back..........to zero time . Of course that will include the one or ones who created humans and more . The complex issue with no answer is the fact that in science nothing can not create something let alone something as huge as the universe . What makes you think the universe is huge? What are you comparing it to? We may all be very very small, existing in still a larger universe as a molecule or a computer chip. |

Even if we are a chip in a more enormous universe , our universe is indeed very huge . When you walk in the street : ask yourself where did all the objects you see come from ?. |

Where they come from is the universal mind, but that has nothing to do with how large or small they are. If you are using yourself (your physical body) as a frame of reference, then the universe is huge. But what if this entire universe is just an atom in the body of a larger entity in a larger universe? Or What if this universe is a holographic creation projected from a computer chip in someone's laptop computer in some other world? Its all relative. Large and small are relative. JB |
