It is actually illegal to throw rice at weddings in Indiana....causes health problems for birds!

To Cook White Fluffy Rice

Put 1 Cup of Rice in a large pan
Add 2 Cups of cold water to it
Turn on heat, when it boils,
Turn it down to simmer, cover pan
set timer for 45 minutes.


Important thing here is watch is start
to boil, reduce to simmer (tiny bubbles
going around edge of pot) place lid on
and don't open.

Turn off Fire, pour into bowl, fluff with
fork, and serve

can be base for
veggies and meats especially chinese
also a good cereal with butter and brown sugar
fruit and nuts
peanut butter and jelly
cheese (like macaroni & cheese)
Can also make your own Rice cakes by squeezing together in your hands while still warm, and adding to a low heated dry iron frying pan and slowly cooking them, the rice will swell
and than you can season as you like,remember cheddar cheese,
melted brown sugar, sea salt, curry,you like it you add it.
