How are you tonight?

I'm good cutie, I think my CO finally noticed the stress level on the ship so we had a stand-down period today and had a BBQ onboard. Normally we have a stand down period every sunday but he made the last two sundays work days so noone has had a break from the routine in about 2 weeks and the tension level was pretty high...i think he noticed that finally lol.

A lot lower now I still have to stand my watches(8hrs on 8hrs off) but what it did mean is that during my 8hours off i didn't have all the other work that i normally have to do. so i got some sleep finally!

Yes i did...but it would have been so much more enjoyable in a big bed with my arms around you...

In the interest of levity and for the good of all NT'ers:

The people who patronize this thread are the very reason I've stuck around this site. I love each and every one of you for myriad reasons and appreciate all of the support I have been offered with my current crises (yes, plural).

Montana and I are no longer an "item" but she remains my friend as she is too good of a person for me to push away. I love her now and forever for what she represents. The world needs more of her, not less.

I encourage all my NT pals to implore her to not "go quietly into that goodnight" because she feels she somehow infringes upon my space by hanging around. This very concept is patently insane but she is so accommodating that she won't listen to me when I assure her that we can coexist with ease.

Send her an email and tell her to keep her shiny face here. I'd sooner burn my keyboard in effigy than risk this thread's future in a Montana-less world.

Am I the only who notices that everyone who hangs around here finds love, btw? I attribute that to the kismet that exists by virtue of the clan of characters who keep us afloat here - Montana being a huge part of that.
