Okay, when I looked up Alderman's Ford park on the Internet, it gave me two addresses.

One of them, 8911 Turkey Creek Rd, is actually nowhere NEAR the park. Which is why, when I was following my directions, I got to the park before I ever got the the road I was supposed to turn on...according to the directions.

The park is actually on the east side of CR39, south of West Keysville Rd. If I'd been coming from the north, I would have never found the park, because I would have gotten to West Keysville FIRST, and turned. Instead, coming from the south, I saw the park sign on my RIGHT, not far from Lithia Pinecrest Rd.

I was there. Tigerman was there, and his girlfriend was there. Three of us, and all that food...

Good thing I portioned it out somewhat so I didn't end up cooking it all at once--had like two dozen pieces of chicken for y'all, and 3 12-packs of soda, most of which ended up coming back with me. Spent somewhere around four hours there waiting for people to come out.

Next year, I'll try my hardest to be down there for the party. I was truly bummed that I couldn't make it! I will be trying really hard to be down there next year to hang out with my florida friends!
