I am removing all pics of my kids off my profile...

but i got two very lovely children.
my son is 5 and my daughter is 12.

I have no pics of mine either.

I even take it a step further. I never tell on a thread if I have a boy or girl or the age of the child. flowerforyou

ty very much. But you proved my point. You can have pics of your kids on here, it depends on your intentions. There are lurkers everywhere, you should always have one eye on your kids and the other eye on everyone else. lol this is prob one of the safest ones to put it on.

More horrifying might be unknowingly allowing someone to babysit for you that is prominently listed at http://www.familywatchdog.us . More important than this site, which has an abundance of anonymity, is to know at least where the ones of have been caught are, and to note what they look like and to definitely play it safe in real life situations.

I look up people on the sex offender websites. I check the sites often to see who is in my area.

I have to play it safe than sorry.flowerforyou

A good friend of mine was married to a man for 9 years. They had two children together and he raised her daughter from 5 yrs. old to 14. He was having sex with her daughter at a pre-teen age. He is now in prison for 30 yrs.

I also know a man that was raped as child.

I'm very sorry to hear that happened. But I don't see how thats connected to posting a pic online? Do what you feel is best, and of course it's a personal choice. If you aren't comfortable with it... by all means, don't do itflowerforyou

Why is it that some people cannot agree to disagree? laugh

I personally agree with you Brooke. There is no need to have pictures of your kids on a dating site. It could open up a whole can of worms.

For me it does relate to putting a pic onlne. I feel that it is my job to do all that I can to protect my child - even not posting a photo. My child doesn't meet the men that I date. And won't until I get into a serious relationship. I need to play it safe not sorry.flowerforyou

Sharing your children with someone is an extremly intimate thing....

flowerforyou you should never be to sorry for protecting your children. I agree about men meeting my kids. I dated my bf for almost 3 months before I let him meet her, and he has his own kidslaugh Not only do I not want my child seeing different guys that I have dated, I want to protect her in every way that I can. If I don't think the relationship is going to last... he's not coming anywhere near my kid.
