i named my baby girl (she is 2 months) Mystery I get alot of slack ppl
think it is a dumb name. My name is autumn and I come from a family of
weird names. I think it is different and cool. What does everyone else
think of it?

there where mystery...Patience...Secret...Promise ..And if i had a boy i
was going to name him Storm.

"Mystery" has a nice ring to it. Now if you named her "O.J," I might
wonder a little.

I think if you are happy with it then who cares what everyone else
thinks. And for your daughter it will help to make her stand out as an
individual and not have a boring name like mine( jennifer) so do not
listen to what all the others say and be happy with what you have
chosen. You liked it right.. So stick with it, I mean what are the names
of the people giving you flack just look at theres and say well you know
how many so and sos do you know and how many do you know with her
name... That should shut them up... But do not let other peoples
opinions change yours.. Now if she get older and does not like it she
can always change it...I knew a whole family named after the seasons,
you know summer, spring, etc but I never forgot them...

Jenn is right, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, it's not their
kid and it's not their life. "Mystery" is a beautiful name because it
carries with it a sense of curiosity and the unknown. It's unique, like
Jenn said, no one will ever think this is a boring name. There are
names that would be problematic down the road, like "Thistlebutt" or
"Obnoxicon" or "Dogyodeler" but I think "Mystery" is actually very
appealing.

I like Mystery, Promise is good too.

i got a lot of grief with my kids names because i spelled them "my"
way.. so i have a Candise, chayse, and a Brookelynn. i like mystery...
it is verrypretty.

I gave my girls "unique" names too, and my family was all twisted with
the names I chose. But, over the years, they've all admitted 'that was a
really cool name you chose...'

The names? Celine, Valentine, and Priety.

My lil niece's name is Patience and now my friend's gonna name her
daughter Nevaeh (Heaven backwards) So I think those kind of names are
the future I love them because they're different I mean if you were a
kid would you rather be something boring like Mary? (No offence to Marys
lol) So don't mind ignorant people.

My Grandson's Name is Makaio,, (The second A is silent, long I)
Being that his Father is Mixed,,, His name means (Mathew)in
Hawaiian.....

Autum that is the coolest name I have heard in awhile I got crap because
I named my youngest son Kashus but u know I love it and it fits him I
also like Alyus

Yes i love diff names I like Kashus thats really cool. Something u dont
hear of ever thats the best kind :)
