First off everyone knows Mutual Match does Not work!! 2nd Everyone complains about no local interest, so other than making friends( which are disappearing all the time) it's not holding anyones interest for dating.

Mutual Match DOES in fact work!! I don't know how local everyone is looking, but maybe broaden your search a bit. Folks may be leaving but I see members joining every day.

Al I am saying is maybe change your strategy, think outside of the box a bit, be a little more flexible and take a chance.

They are probably bailing out for the same reason I am trying this site. The othersite I was on had too much drama and a freakish amount of stalking nut jobs. At least here, you don't GOTTA post actual photos of yourself.....(No, I ain't ugly), but the "clean language" thing here is really hard to get used to.

Well Pats I like ya and hope you dont leave. So as you can see I havent been on LONG but have enjoyed all of my time here. This place is my stress reliever and I enjoy messing with everyone.

They are stating that they don't want to see me & others leave, but again due to the lack of local interest, people are leaving, just about no-one signs on to find someone thousands of miles away!!

I do have to agree with you on this Pat, but it is sad to see so many leave. I can understand, I have given up on finding someone, but I like making friends, even it is just a internet friendship.

How about just in an adjoining state, a 100 or 200 hundred miles...surely there is SOMEONE within that range in the states that surround you that you might consider??!!

Not everyone needs a man to be complete just as not everyone needs a woman. There is a huge difference in wanting and needing. Being open to rejection and more hurt causes alot of things in ones life.

I'll be the first to agree to this, but I am responding to the folks who said they aren't finding what they want here as far as dating.

If you're seeking a relationship, there's no point in being on a dating site if you're not open to all the reasonable possibilities and take full advantage of the features that will help connect you.

If you have unresolved baggage/issues that are keeping you from connecting with someone, deal with them, get on the other side of them and allow yourself to move on. A lot of people are their own worst enemy, they shoot down possibilities before they even give it shot. There's no guarantee for anyone that ya aren't gonna get hurt again, but ya can't allow the fear to paralyze you, learn from your past, don't allow it to dictate your future.
