I have a 9 year old daughter in virginia and I live in Ohio, and her mom makes it even more difficult than it shoul be, uses her as a pawn ,it really sucks. I just pray that when my little girl gets old enough she will be open minded enoug to let me tell her my side of the story!

It's so very hard being away from you children....my ex has them right now while I'm in college...He refuses to let me see them since I moved up here so I haven't seen my daughters in over a year....
For anyone who is separated from a child my deepest simpathies....

You are your children's best advocate so do what you have to do to keep them safe!

Those who are not capable of providing a healthy, stable environment continue to wreak havoc on their children's lives much longer than when they are just growing up under the parent's direct influence.

Repercussions can be life long and deep, affecting them and those they form relationships with, later in life.

I will pray for you and your children!flowerforyou

A kid will never forget who their parents are..... the good news is that they will look for you the distance makes only remember the good times and they will always have you in their mind as the best guy of this world, not matter who can say the contrary you will always be their father.....and the good thing is that distance makes people closer when there's love ...I bet you love them more than ever ...distance do that.....they feel the same....this time alone it is the perfect time to plan or to think about them...time for lots of things you will do when you see them again....distance is good always see it that way...and between you and them there's a strong chain that it is impossible to break.

I feel your pain my woman left after we moved 2 hours and a ferry ride away from our home she decided to go back and thinks the kids should go to school where we used to live together. I hurts the kids too, but probably not as much as the parents.

I wanna say thanks for the good advice. It's made me think about the things I really do want. Not only for myself, but for my children as well.
