thoughts are thoughts. you only give them life if you act on them....or keep thinking them repeatedly for an extended period of time....

Are having adulterous thoughts just as bad as acting on them? if you look at it from religious point of view the moment you think it is as bad as doing it I believe the Bible basically eludes to passing thought or reaction as instanteous arousal tends to be without malice. That is only human nature and it would be foolish to believe that is a sin. Entertaining thoughts and embellishing a fantasy is the sinful part.
