ok i am trying to move out of my grandparents house and into where my mom and dad used to live........well when i told my grandparents that i was moving out they called SRS and the utility companies and told the utility companines not to turn on the utilities and told SRS that i abuse my kids....is that possible??

I'm not sure how they can prevent you from getting your utilities turned on but they can lie to anybody about anything. Sorry you're dealing with that crap.

If the utilities use to be in there name...or thier name is on the deed to that property... yes they can

DAMN.. sounds like they don't want you to move out and or back into where your mom & dad lived at etc, so there trying to stop you. Crazy.

I am sorry that you are going through that, but try talking to them and see why they are doing this. Its not right, but maybe they dont want to be alone after having you in the house. Families can be strange at times. Good luck to you.

discuss it with them quietly. And most of all, listen to what they say. Might have reasons that you have not thought of. Then, just throw yourself on the mercy of the world and do what you are gonna do anyhow.
