I was kinda of hoping Tony would be in the 5 car for Jr Motosports!!!!... Jr has said with the Nationwide series bring in the COT, cost wise would be about the same as the cup series. Look for Jr Motorsports to field cup cars next year..

It was in plain NASCAREEZ...LOL

Tony will do well cause he has a connection with HMS in the engine department so...He has the BEST power that Chevy has to offer plus all the information he has gathered from his present team. You can bet that he has been keeping his ear to the wall gathering the facts on what makes the Toyotas go so fast!! Tony wants to OWN a team...not just drive for someone. Ever since he became a track owner...he wants to be boss and likes it!! Mark Martin will do well in the HMS 5 car. He will be a top 5 contender next year with Hendricks. I saw the same thing about Jr's Nationwide team. Jr will be building his Cup team and then most probably joining them when his 5 year contract expires with Hendricks.

Haas is the owner of the 66 and 70 cars. A chevy team. Thats a big reason for Tony to buy majority ownership, his loyalty to chevy. Jr Motorsports is owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr and running cars in the Nationwide series. With the cost of switching from the cars they run now to the COT(cars of tomorrow), same thing they did in the Nascar cup series, I look for Jr Motorsports to field cars in the cup series. He will continue to drive for Hendricks but will own his own cup team. Same thing his dad, driving for Richard Childress but owning DEI...

Your right about Martin in the five, my mistake..What ever numbers Jr would get in the cup, sure would have liked Tony in one, he and Tony are such good friends..

I just hope that Nascar slaps all kinds of sanctions on the Toyotas tonight. Maybe Tony saw the advantage and even told on JGR since he is leaving. 9 engines are being looked at right now after the Nationwide race..Maybe Busch will be back in the pack where he belongs now!!!
