We get exited about the possibility of a new job. We see the opportunity to make something happen for ourselfs, make more money, do meaningful work and rise to personal challange. The old heart starts pounding, the juices begin to flow and we feel ourselfs revving up for this stimulating experience. Then we tell a friend or family member about it one evening. We get a smirk, a laugh that says, "you can't do that" and a foot long list of all the problems and obstacles and 50 reasons why we will never make it and are better off to stay where we are in life.

Before we know it, our enthusiasm falls to near zero. We now begin to second guess ourselfs and the opprtunity. We feel like a whipped puppy with our tail between out legs. We begin to think of reasons why we might not make it, instead of all the reasons why we will make it. They have accomplished their mission! Friends or family like that can do more damage then a dozen enemies can!!!

Remember that succussful people do the things that avaerage people won't. Succuessful people have the things the avaerage people dont. They are able to handle fustration. Remain strong and keep dreaming! Dreams eventually becomes goals, which eventually become reality!

A lot of people don't have the strength or ambition to have or follow their own dreams, sad but true. Everyone should have dreams and goals, and follow them with all their heart, energy, and ability. Other than true love and children, having dreams and goals come to fruition are some of life's greatest rewards.

My dreams have been crushed by my family since childhood. They have done this in an attempt to build up their own egos by making those around them "lower" than them. I didn't realize this until several years ago after my father died. I have the smarts and potential to do anything I want, but until recently my self esteem was so low I not only didn't give a d@mn, I considered being smart a curse. Now I am going to follow my dreams and get into nursing school. To anyone who has doubts or lacks desire, don't give up. There is a brighter future ahead... flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou
