Is there such a thing as just going cold turkey on someone? My ex sent me an e-mail today, and i somehow always end up talking to her again. there just something that draws me in, i cant escape her. But without fail, somehow, by the end of every conversation, i end up feeling, sad lonely, and hurt all over again. Is it possible to just stop talking, writing, thinking about someone, and never let them bother u again?

Yes, it can be done but it is very hard. Good luck to you.

Sometimes the relationship can change to friends if there is no hate involved.

Boy, I'd try to avoid any contact if you always end up feeling sad & lonely. Sounds a bit like a game here.

When you notice an email from her, why bother to even open it and read it? Just delete it without looking at it. It will save you a lot of heartache and your wounds will begin to heal without the constant opening of new ones. Good Luck!
