Well nothing can last forever at the passion of the first few weeks .. we'd burn out. BUT .. that's a huge point with my BF. He keeps in touch every single day .. just short contact. but when someone is far away (he's an hr away) you've GOT to do that or you lose the intimacy. Chris is about .. seven hours away from me. Papa Sammy thinks we should meet somewhere halfway right away, just to see if this is going to work out between us, so we know and we're not just .. I don't want to say wasting, but I guess there's no other way of putting it ... wasting each other's time. I am just at a loss of what to do. |

Well unusual as it is .. I totally agree with your "papi sammy" ..
MEET. Period. Just meet. I HAVE wasted time before by not meeting and then meet and find the chemistry is not what I thought. WASTE OF TIME

But there are so many factors to consider.
I can only meet on a weekend because of my job. He's got school AND work. I don't want him to skip either one of those just for me. And then he has no car, so how's he going to get halfway? |

You could try that .. just take a day or two off of work and do it. You GOTTA do it .. |

I have just started a relationship with a lady 10 years younger than me and so far age has been NO factor in our happiness!!!!

And I am NOT taking off from work to go meet this guy, no matter how we may end up. I only have 5 vacation days until May 05, 2009 and I am already using 1 1/2 in two weeks! I have to use one or two in February for my best friend sister's wedding. I get 10 vacation days between May 05, 2009 and May 05, 2010 ... if I stay here that long. |

And I am NOT taking off from work to go meet this guy, no matter how we may end up. I only have 5 vacation days until May 05, 2009 and I am already using 1 1/2 in two weeks! Nothing much, really. Work is taking up my weekdays and then trying to cram in friends and everything else is taking up my weekends. Speaking of which, I haven't hung out with my friends for close to a month. =/ |
