If it something he likes to do, I wouldn't object.
 I think it could bring out both, Cuddly and nurturing sides. It depends if my love is sick or just wants to be closer to me  I personally LOVE running my fingers through his hair |

My boyfriend lays his head in my lap when he isn't feeling well, or if he's tired, or if he's just being cuddly. I usually rub his head or something. I like it, but if he didn't do it to me also like he does, then I would get sick of it.
