I keep getting ims on yahoo from people who say they got my email on here. I thought they dont give out my email. whats the deal

The guy messaged me calling me his wife and he hopes we can always be in love....He was in (supposedly) Nigeria.

We do not give out our users' personal email addresses. It's that simple.
Keep in mind that it is possible for others to guess your email address from your user name (lots of people use the same user name across various sites). Also, if you've given out your email to anybody on the web with questionable credentials, then there's a good chance that he/she has shared that information with other questionable characters. |

Ah I wasnt blaming you/the site Charles. Just thought it was a funny coincidence it all happened to different ppl at the same time. I just learned to ignore. I have no money to send anywhere..Maybe I should tell them I need it instead?

Fair enough.  Like with most things, it just takes experience to spot a scammer. We do our best to keep the site clean of such people, and the help from you guys helps a lot.
