I know this might be suited for "movie" threads...but since this movie has such Political and Current event themes I thought it appropiate to post here.
For all my friends here whether you are part of the "neo-cons", "far-Left liberal socialists","Marxist-Lenin commies" or anything in between you should check out and rent this movie.
I saw this in the theaters awhile back...but was caught up in the "action" of the movie and it wasn't until my son rented the movie that I paid more attenion to the storyline.
It's a modern version of something along the lines of classics such as "1984" Solient Green" Logan's Run" where the government trys to suppress the people through fear(won't tell you how..it would ruin the story).
It's got everything, action, suspense, Love and of course a great political statement!

Loved the movie, watched it again last week and was reminded of another book.
If you get a chance check out "The Traveler" by John Twelve Hawks

I'll check it out...
as for the movie..I think I've watch it about 10 times now
