Brewer's yeast that is found in beer is a natural bug repellent.... 
And for the ones that don't drink beer they sell tablets to take.... 
So bug season means nothing except the few die hard skeeters that just don't understand the concept of repellent.... 
So beer up and stay skeeter free....

Unfortunately , one fatality...... very sad 
Have to try and relite the fire later BUT beers for now I guess

OK this is SERIOUSLY , the longest I have gone without a campfire AND , more importantly a beer .. what up with that peeps ?

How are you dealing with this change and all the winds and cold ?.
I can hear the wind outside......and I am shivering.........brrrrrrrrrrrrr !!!. Maybe a drink or two will help........maybe real fire will help.....!.  .

We really need to get this darn fire started again and keep it lit....
They are calling for flurries here tonight and is it ever cold out there....
( I know TTO...I can hear ya saying "Well, keep the darn thing in then).. 
So I'm starting the fire, filling the cooler, putting on the hot cocoa and coffee for anyone that needs to get warmed up.....

It flurried last night.....
It didn't stick but that means it's just a matter of time (like a week or so) before everything is all white again....
So it's off to a blow down for some wood and then a quick stop at the beer store... (setting my traps ya know...)..

I set some traps and here ya be....
I knew that if I put the word "beer" and "campfire" out there knowing that it would get your attention....
It's been S!ing on and off all day...
I was so sure this time last year that I would have a foot warmer for the cold weather this year... 
Guess I have to go back to heated rocks for the ol' sleeping bag...
